Diving Deep... a look at the UGLY Watch Co 300M Diver.

One of the newest additions to republicoftime.ie is the 300M Diver by UGLY Watch Co. This watch is available in two dial colours; White Mother Of Pearl and Black Mother Of Pearl. When I first seen pictures of both of these watches I instantly fell in love with the White Mother Of Pearl variant. However, on arrival, I noticed that both dial options had their own unique charm, with the Black Mother Of Pearl growing on me with each look.

The first thing you will notice when you purchase and receive your UGLY Watch Co 300M Diver is the hugely useful travel case that is used for a box. After un-zipping the case, you are greeted by a remarkable Mother Of Pearl dial in either White or Black with striking Orange or Blue details on the bezel and dial.

The true beauty of these dials is not apparent at first glance, step outside to see an amazing play of light and colour that pops with every wrist movement.

The Black Mother Of Pearl shows an explosion of deep sea colours that will make you stare at your watch for hours on end.

The White Mother Of Pearl is a bit more subtle, but nonetheless it will make you wonder what lies beneath the ocean once you see it shimmer in the daylight.

The case back is laser etched with a diver to remind you what it is supposed to be used for! I would highly recommend taking these watches for a dip to see how the dials look under water.

The 120 Click Uni-Directional Bezel allows for accurate setting of your countdown timer for the serious divers out there. The added helium escape valve is a nice touch, even though it is not likely to ever be used (unless you are saturation diving, but for that I would maybe wear a diving computer)!

Overall, the watch as a whole is a winner. It's 42mm case size is perfect, i
